Expanding "The Talk": How to Effectively Discuss Sexuality with Various Clinical Populations

Class Instructor:  Rachel Castleberry, LMHC, RDT/BCT, CST 

Synopsis:  The use of Harry J. Aponte's Person of the Therapist model will be used to explore the clinical practitioner's understanding of their own apprehensions and limitations in the discussions of sexuality with clients of different populations. Following this self-inventory, practitioners will learn effective ways in which to engage in conversations about sexuality in respect to cultural considerations, ethical standards of care, embodiment, developmental norms and trauma history.
